Praying Boldly for Kingdom Growth
by Pastor Dustin
“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” — Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)
Prayer is more than communication with God—it is communion with the One who holds our future. It is an act of faith that aligns our hearts with His will, trusting that He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
As the LCCS community steps into a bold new season with the Heart of a Lion capital campaign, prayer must remain our cornerstone.
A Season of Extraordinary Growth
From 2019 to 2024, LCCS experienced a remarkable 52% increase in student enrollment—a clear sign of God’s hand at work. But with rapid growth comes capacity challenges. Our classrooms are full, and our current spaces are stretched to their limits.
This expansion project isn't just about constructing a building; it's about building opportunity. Specifically, this campaign allows us to:
Create capacity to disciple more students for Christ.
Foster innovation and creativity through expanded Innovation Academies.
Strengthen community spaces that reflect God’s Kingdom values.
Enlarging Our Territory for Kingdom Impact
In 1 Chronicles 4:10, Jabez prays, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my territory!” His heart was not set on personal gain, but on expanding his capacity for impact—and God honored that request.
In the same way, we are not simply asking for additional square footage. We are asking for more room to raise up world-changers who are anchored in truth, conviction, and faith.
A Spiritual Opportunity, Not Just a Financial Goal
James 5:16 reminds us, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Your prayers truly matter.
The Heart of a Lion campaign is more than a fundraising benchmark—it is a spiritual milestone. It is a call to pause, seek God’s wisdom, trust in His timing, and give sacrificially in faith. As we build physical walls, we build a legacy. As we expand classrooms, we broaden hearts for Jesus.
Let us pray boldly for provision, unity, and favor. Above all, let us pray that every brick laid and every dollar given will be used to advance the Gospel through Christian education.
Today, let us lift our eyes and our voices, asking God to do “immeasurably more” than we can see right now. When we pray in alignment with His will, the impossible becomes possible—for His glory and for generations to come.
Join Us in Prayer
Lord, Thank You for the growth You have brought to LCCS. Stir our hearts to pray faithfully and give generously. As we move forward in faith, expand not just our buildings, but our vision. May all that we do bring glory to You and shape lifelong disciples. We ask that this campaign be a testimony of Your provision and a catalyst for Kingdom impact. In Jesus' name, Amen.
