Summer Camps

LCCS summer camps offer a variety of enrichment opportunities for students of all ages to develop their skills, discover their passions, and mature in godly character. All camps take place Monday-Thursday. Campers will receive a summer camp tee shirt!


Innovation Academy Camps

Discover new talents and develop passions in entrepreneurship, STEM, and the arts!

  • Do you want to learn to speak computer language? Want to create a fun computer game for you and your friends? Coding (computer programming) puts you in the driver's seat! We will use "Scratch the Cat" to accomplish fun mini projects that will culminate in a fun playable game that you can share with your family and friends.

  • It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a summer camp! During this week of art camp, we will look at the styles and characteristics of super artists, animators, and illustrators. As we learn what sets these artists apart, students will discover their own art style and all the super ways God has created them to be unique.

  • Love to build with Legos®? Passionate about using your creativity? Bring your game face and embrace your inner master builder! Learn Lego® building and engineering techniques that will enable you to create characters, interactive props, and scenes.

    This same camp is offered during two camp weeks: June 10-13 and again June 17-20.

  • Learn the three skills of a musical theatre performer - acting, singing, and dancing! Campers will learn an upbeat choreographed number, a music number, and work on acting scenes culminating in a short performance on the last day of camp.

  • It's time to get messy and create art! During this week of art camp, we will get hands-on experience in learning what it takes to create art. Students will learn the behind-the-scenes process to make their own ink, paint, paper, and more. Students will be encouraged not just to create their own art, but to see the potential in God's creation, just as God sees great potential in all of us.

  • Get ready to learn about motors, gears, and structure as we build robots ready to work. Students will work in teams to build and program robots and build moving parts using motors to create an interactive landscape.

Lions Athletic Camps

Learn the fundamentals, develop your skills, and enjoy friendly competition under the direction of LCCS varsity coaches and athletes.

Cost: $120 (no refunds)


  • Learn the fundamentals of baseball, perfect and sharpen throwing, fielding, batting, and base running skills, while learning biblical character traits that apply to athletics in an encouraging, competitive, and friendly environment. Each session will include individual instruction, small group competition, and large team games along with a time of devotions and prayer. Baseball camp is coached by LCCS baseball coaches and Athletic Director Mark Hobbs.

    Times: 5:30-8:30 pm
    Ages: Boys entering grades 5-8

  • Learn the fundamentals of basketball, perfect and sharpen current skills, and learn biblical character traits that apply to athletics in an encouraging, competitive, and friendly environment. Each session will include individual instruction, small group competition, and large team games along with a time of devotions and prayer. Basketball camp is coached by LCCS basketball coaches and Athletic Director Mark Hobbs.

    Students entering grades 1-4:
       June 10-13, 9 am-12 pm

    Boys entering grades 5-8:
       June 10-13, 1-4 pm

    Girls entering grades 5-8:
       June 17-20, 1-4 pm

  • Basketball Skills Camp is designed for the more experienced player who is looking to receive a deeper level of coaching, more advanced approach to skills instruction, and repetition and evaluation of skills like ball handling, shooting, and passing. All game play will be in small-sided opportunities (2 on 2, 3 on 3, etc.) in order to keep the focus on the intricate skills of the game. Basketball camp is coached by LCCS basketball coaches and Athletic Director Mark Hobbs.

    Ages: Students entering grades 7-10

  • Cheer camp is perfect for all spirited athletes who would love to increase their cheerleading skills whether they have cheered before or not. Campers will develop skills and learn how to move, kick, jump, dance, and stunt through fun activities and practice stations. There will also be an introduction into tumbling. Camp will culminate with a short performance on the last day of camp. Cheer camp is coached by LCCS cheer coaches and Athletic Director Mark Hobbs.

    Times: 9 am-12 pm
    Ages: Girls entering grades 4-8

Full-Day Camps

Spend the day at LCCS! Each week of camp will include games and activities that center around that week's theme in addition to crafts, reading time, and a field trip to the pool.

  • Art Week will unleash our creative skills. We will use our hands and creativity to make various arts and crafts.

  • Nature Week will explore various things that God has created. We will spend time outside observing, using, and learning about nature.

  • Olympics Week will be a fun week learning about international cultures and participating in our own Olympic Games.

  • We will spend most of our time during Water Fun Camp outside playing creative water games. A bathing suit, towel, and change of clothes will be necessary.
