PA Tax Credit Programs
Turn your taxes into scholarships!
It may sound too good to be true, but a portion of your tax dollars can be redirected to LCCS to provide tuition financial aid scholarships. Over 50% of LCCS families benefit from the tuition assistance provided by these programs, and 100% of the contributions received go directly to families who qualify for financial assistance. This enables families to attend LCCS who may not otherwise be able to afford tuition.
EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit)
The private school movement in PA is a significant lobbying group, and legislatures know that both public and private schools can benefit from EITC. Our government leaders realize that quality education, to some extent, can be advanced by proper funding.
The scholarship funds for this program come from businesses that recognize the value of quality Christian education. The business can redirect up to 90% of their annual state taxes for a two year commitment and 75% for a one year commitment to a given school.
OSTC (Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit)
Because of the tuition assistance provided by OSTC funds, families of students who are attending a failing school can choose LCCS. Business’s redirected tax dollars are used to fund scholarship programs for students who live in areas served by the lowest achieving 15% of Pennsylvania’s public schools and who meet specific income criteria. Funding for this scholarship program is from the businesses that participate in EITC.
SPE (Special Purpose Entity)
The SPE tax credit program allows individuals to also participate in EITC. As an individual, through SPE, you may redirect a large portion of your taxes to LCCS if you have a tax liability of $3,500. This opportunity requires you to sign what is called a “joinder agreement” with a state approved LLC. The LCCS acts as a pass-through organization that directs SPE scholarship monies to LCCS.

A Note from Dr. O
I would be delighted to speak with you about the remarkable opportunity we have to support LCCS families with our PA state tax dollars. By participating in EITC/OSTC/SPE, you have the power to make a profound impact on the lives of students, providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive academically, spiritually, and personally. Together we can make a significant impact in the lives of LCCS students!
In Him,
