Spiritual Life

Spiritual formation is not a program that can be separated from the curriculum. It’s more than just Bible class. Spiritual formation is part of everything that we do at LCCS. Academics, the arts, athletics, technology, and even lunch are all part of our spiritual lives when life is approached with an integrated biblical worldview. A biblical worldview does not separate life into sacred and secular components. Everything we think, feel, and do is submitted to the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Chapel

Chapel services are held once a week for all students in kindergarten through 12th grade to enhance students' walks with the LORD through teaching, prayer, small groups, and worship. LCCS administration, teachers, and local Christian leaders share from God's Word in these important times of worship. Student worship teams contribute to the chapel experience.

Service Projects

LCCS is committed to developing community-minded, servant leaders who love others like Jesus. Students are encouraged to put their faith into action through various service and mission projects that impact the Lancaster area, our state, nation, and world. These service opportunities are designed to prepare students for national and international mission trips that are taken by our upper school students each year.

Class Trips

All students in grades 7-12 participate in a class trip each fall. By focusing on a common goal and partnering with other non-profit organizations and ministries, these short-term trips are designed for long-term impact. Class trips are a learning and serving experience with an eternal impact. Each year, the class trip builds on the previous year’s trip with a specific goal and focus so that students have a well-rounded, diverse experience.
