Lancaster County Christian School depends on two sources of revenue: tuition and philanthropy. While tuition covers roughly 80% of the operating expenses on an annual basis, philanthropy is necessary to cover the 20% gap in any given year.

Opportunities to Get Involved

• The Lions Fund
  The Lions Fund is our annual fund - the cornerstone of all fundraising efforts at LCCS. It is necessary to sustain and enhance the LCCS mission. Donations to the Lions Fund support the financial needs that aren't covered by tuition. From extracurricular education and program enrichment to scholarships and academic programming, your generosity helps to bridge this gap by meeting daily needs of the school. All gifts to the Lions Fund are used within a given fiscal year and are 100% tax deductible.

• PA Tax Credit Programs
  Instead of sending your tax dollars to PA, individuals and businesses have opportunities to redirect a portion of your state tax dollars to LCCS to be used for tuition financial aid through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program.

• Business Partnerships
  LCCS hosts many high quality events each year that bolster our mission and invite the community to participate in the exciting things happening at LCCS. We invite local businesses to partner with us by sponsoring these events. This provides a great opportunity for businesses to advertise and market to the LCCS families and event attendees.

  LCCS welcomes appropriate non-cash contributions of goods or services that support the educational mission of the school. Donation needs are often posted in the family e-newsletter (the Lions Letter). Please check with our Business Office to see how an idea you have for a gift can be most useful and appropriate.

  Volunteering is a great opportunity to work with students, support teachers, or contribute to a variety of school activities and programs. Whether you have a few hours to regularly commit each week or want to jump in and volunteer for a specific event or project, your time and talents will be greatly appreciated and will make a significant difference in the lives of our students.
