Tuition & Financial Aid: How LCCS Makes Christ-Centered Education Possible

For many families, the first question about Christian school isn’t about curriculum or community — it’s about cost. It’s a fair question, and we’d rather answer it honestly than let a sticker price make the decision for you. The truth is that a meaningful share of LCCS families receive some form of tuition assistance, and the real amount a family pays is often very different from the published rate.

What Financial Aid Actually Looks Like

Need-based financial aid at LCCS starts with the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, a straightforward application that looks at your family’s full financial picture rather than a single number. From there, our Financial Aid Committee reviews each application personally and carefully — the same way we’d want our own children’s needs considered. New families can complete this application once the enrollment process is finished, and returning families apply each year through the Family Portal. Timing matters: applications completed by March 30 receive priority consideration, while later applications are reviewed as funds remain available.

Five Things Worth Knowing Before You Count Yourselves Out

First, need-based aid is available to new and returning families alike, not just families in crisis. Second, Pennsylvania’s EITC and OSTC tax-credit programs allow local businesses to redirect a portion of what they already owe in state taxes directly into scholarships for students like yours — at no net cost to the business. Third, our multi-child discount stacks automatically: 5% off for a second student, 10% for a third, and 15% for each child after that. Fourth, payment plans are flexible — pay in full each July, split it into two payments, or spread it across eleven monthly installments. And fifth, pastors serving full-time on a local church staff may qualify for up to 50% tuition assistance through our Pastoral Discount Application.

A Partnership, Not a Guessing Game

We believe cost should never be the reason a family misses out on a Christ-centered education. If you’re weighing whether LCCS is within reach — as a new family, a growing family, or a ministry family — we would rather walk through the real numbers with you than have you guess from the outside. Reach out to our admissions team, and we’ll help you understand exactly what a Christ-centered education could look like for your household, before you ever have to wonder in the dark.
